A winged staff with two serpents twined around it, carried by Hermes. Also used as the symbol of the medical profession.
A dear friend of mine said,"Usually to heal we work with the element Air. Because air represents a balance between Fire and water. The Cadeucus wand is the symbol used by doctors and is also the staff of hermes. Raphiel (The divine healer- archangel of Air and Tiffereth- the sun) is usually depicted as holding a cadeucus. One serpent represents fire... One serpent represents water and when brought together they create Air. Air is balance... The sun is in the centre.. The Cadeucus represents healing..." I based my art off this particular style of Caduceus: [link] I'd like to thank  , who gave the awesome fairy tut. I requestedXD I'm sure other did as well... but still. 30 mins?? Less than that I'm sure. |
